My final double page spread

Here is my final double page spread. My first idea of my double page spread didn't look much like this the colour scheme was different it was pink and white, but i changed this because it was too feminine and classy and didn't go with the front cover, so they I changed it to the colours vibe use in there magazine which was light blue, black and white but i added an extra colour which was grey which went with my front cover, and these colours look more professional the colours i first used seemed like it could be in a kids magazine which wasn't good at all. The layout of my double page spread came front one of Vibes double Page spread and it looks about the same just with different images and text.
I didn't put as many images along the top row because I wanted them more spread out, also the contrast of mine wasn't as high as vibes. I made the images at the top black and white because it makes the main image stand out more because its in colour and also i changed the opacity to they wouldn't stand out as much again.  iI like vibes double page spread because all the other ones I've seen so far are all pretty much the same 1 large image on the left/right and text on the other side, so i chose to imitate this one because it is different, and thats what i wanted to achieve, Different! I have all the main conventions you would see on a double page spread which is the page, number, web address and small bits of text saying who took the photo and where, also quotes from the artists. I chose this main image because it seems like she's looking at the text on the right of her or looking at the miniature photos of her on her right, also because its like she's bending down, like she can fit in the page. I also copied the V OLU ME in the top right corner because i liked it and it was laid out like my title of my contents so it shows continuity, but instead of putting 'NOW' i put 'VO LU ME 3 OUT NOW' because i didn't understand the 'NOW'. But I think that my double page spread turned out good and I'm happy with it there's nothing I personally would change.

Here was the start of my double page spread and as you can see the colours don't work too well, the photo on the right wasn't cut out and blurred properly it was a bit of a mess and the photo was all that great anyway, instead of looking like a singer she looked more like a person on a kids TV show so it wasn't good at all, but the lighting wasn't to bad. The photo on the wasn't cut out completely, I had to boast up the contrast and brightness because the lighting wasn't very good, but it wasn't a bad pose.
