Our idea for the Brief and the 180 degree line

Me and my group have decided to create a crime, detective scene for the brief and we will chose a range of different camera shots, angles and movements to fit each part of the scene to create a very well done piece. We have chosen to create a piece about an detective questioning a young girl about a crime that had been committed recently. We are going to use a lot of camera shots, angles and movements when the detective is walking down the stairs past the window and into the room where the girl will be sat. We thought this would be a good idea because it would make the scene very serious and dramatic.

We have recently looked at a short clip from the ring and watched carefully how they created the tension, seriousness and also at parts funniness. There was one this that we looked at very carefully from this clip is the 180 degree line where if you cross over the 180 degree line it will make you confused and make everything look back to front. In the clip they have the cameras all on the front of the bed and every camera is either on the line or in front of it and it doesn't cross it.
