Target Audience Of Short Films

Most of the Short Films I researched are to do with children and the problems they face when in school such as violence, bullying. I realised that school children around the same age as those in the film are the majority of the audience. There are the bullies and the children who are being bullied, the victims of bullying usual feel alone and quited sadened, but the film will help them by realising that there not the only ones who suffere from this problem. By the bullies watching the film they may realise what there doing and how it effects the victims. The parents of the school children are also the target audience for this kind of film as they may find out that they child is being bullied and how they can help, also if there childs the bullying help to calm them down and get them away from violence.

Some Categories of Youths:
Trendies- Those who crave the admiration of their peer- Attention seeking and may show off in front of there friends to look 'cool' this sort of person could be the bully using another pupil to mock. They could also be struggling to fit in as an outsider.

Egoists- Those who seek pleasure- These could be rebellious and be peer pressure into bunking lessons, bulling children for just fun etc.

Puritons- Those who wish to feel virtuous- These children would not want to break any rules and do what they are told in school, this could be considered 'not cool' to their peers and result in them getting bullied.

Innovators- Those who wish to make there mark- These could be students
